In the spring 2016, Vastavirta and TABASCO® sauce joined their forces. That resulted in co-operation that aimed at bringing the history of the sauce to today’s world and highlighting the rich tastes and flavours of TABASCO® instead of the heat. Working with the TABASCO® brand combined pride and passion. The strategy was to progress towards events and social media.
EVENT COVERAGE AT TIKKURILA
Vastavirta realised a multilevel campaign with TABASCO® sauce. The campaign included event coverage at Tikkurila Festival. The brand got recognition both as a form of table football sized of a human body and Red Hot Cocktail Challenge – Featured By TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce -competition. Along with having fun and tasty time at the festival the coverage was been created in the world of tastes and exercising.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND LOTTERY CAMPAIGNS
Part of the TABASCO® sauce coverage was put into action during the summer of 2016 with the help of social media. There were drawn lots many product buckets at the #tabascogrillikesä -competition on the TABASCO® sauce Facebook page. The buckets included not only familiar products but also sweets and spicy popcorns. Furthermore, TABASCO® Loves Food & Music -campaign included free ticket -lottery for the most desired festival of the summer as well as McCormick gift vouchers -lottery.
